My name is Scott Stanton and this is my senior year at Monmouth College. I am a physical education major and plan to enter into the teaching business as a physical educator. I have played four years of football and I also ran for the track team for the last four years. I became very interested in this topic when I realized how advanced the technology has become and how much potential technology has yet to come. The capability of the sports world entering a new realm of strength, ability, and competition with genetically enhanced athletes is interesting to me. What may soon become of genetically enhanced athletics could leave sports as we know it today, a forgotten past.
