F04/05 Introduction to Research/Sourced Essay; Schmidt and Mendelson articles due (PA 128-133). Annotate each article as you read it; TYPE a works cited entry for each article and write an annotation/summary of the article in which you characterize the type of article (news story, editorial, popular magazine article, scientific journal article, web article, book chapter, etc.), briefly summarize the main points of the article, and describe the way(s) the article could be useful to your research paper.  Annotations should be 50-100 words.  IF you use phrases/sentences from the article, make sure to put quotation marks around those words.   Consult chapter 53 of Bedford for models of works cited entries (see table of contents 530-31). M04/08 Proposal Essay Due.
