Tiffany Diehl and Dustin White's Conjunction Website

As prospective educators, Dustin and I understand the need for outside resources and supplementary materials.  These materials not only help the teacher who is presenting the lesson, but are useful in reinforcing concepts and ideas.  With this web-page we hope to aid in your teaching experience by furthering your resource bank.

Conjunctions, although they are not overly difficult to understand, can pose problems if omitted or used incorrectly.  Conjunctions are vital in our written and oral language, and are often referred to as “joiners” because they join two parts of a sentence.  Normally, conjunctions join words, phrases or clauses.

The job that conjunctions perform is comparable to the link in a fence.  Each link in a chain link fence is pertinent to the whole and creates an even and correctly pieced fence that stands sturdy and correctly performs its task.  Through the use of conjunctions, pieces are connected therefore reinforcing the fluidity of the sentence and the joining of ideas.  Enjoy the site, and feel free to let us know what you think!  THANKS!
